Join us for a lively discussion about Corporate Philanthropy in Yolo County and ways to engage corporate partners as a nonprofit!
About this Event

The discussion will be moderated by Allegra Pickett who is the Grants Manager for the Teichert Foundation and a board member for the Yolo Community Foundation. We are pleased to announce that Julie Cunningham, the Community Relations Manager for Nugget Markets, Angelika Corchado, the Community Health Director for Sutter Health, and Kelley Jacobsen, the Chief Operating Officer at Yolo Federal Credit Union, will be our panel participants.

In addition to the panel discussion we will hear about an amazing opportunity for partnership from The UC Davis (UCD) Graduate School of Management. UC Davis GSM collaborates with organizations - including local and regional non-profits - on “Integrated Management Projects” (IMPs). An IMP is performed by a team of 4-5 UCD MBA students over a 10-week academic quarter. It analyzes a specific issue/opportunity that the organization that “Sponsors” the project has identified. The student team invests 500+ total hours developing project-specific work products - which the Sponsor then leverages when making future decisions. These projects have historically delivered high value to their Sponsors - especially given their modest financial “suggested donation.”

Doors open at 4pm with the discussion running from 4:30pm-5:30pm. There will be opportunities for networking between 4:00pm-4:30pm. Food and refreshments will be avialable at the event.

The event will be held in the Community Room at the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in the Community Room
