About this Event
Our mindful African drumming gathering is a soulful space to breathe deeply, release what’s heavy, learn, and reconnect to your natural rhythm.
Led with intention, this experience blends African rhythmic traditions, embodied mindfulness, and the healing power of collective sound.
Together, we explore:
✨ The history and lineage of African drumming: Honoring the cultural roots, stories, and ancestral intelligence carried in each rhythm
✨ The mind-body connection: How percussion supports emotional regulation, grounding, and nervous system balance
✨ The science of rhythm: How consistent beats help calm the body, focus the mind, and build inner resilience
This is an inclusive, beginner-friendly gathering where every level is welcome—whether you're touching a drum for the first time or returning to a forgotten part of yourself.
Kids ages 5 and up are welcome with their parent or guardian, and this is a beautiful experience for families to connect, learn, and root together!
Bring your own drum or percussion instrument if you have one, or feel free to use one of ours that will be readily available for you.
