African American Outreach Devotional

We invite all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their friends to attend this special devotional.

In 1978, Brother Young was among the first African American men to receive the priesthood. In 1979, Brother Young, together with his family, became the first African American family sealed in the Oakland Temple. Join us as he shares his historic and faith-affirming testimony about the power of temple ordinances and how they strengthen us as individuals, families and communities. His daughter, Gena Mabee, the current African American Outreach Committee Chairperson for the Arizona region will also speak.
