Bill is Dena'ina Athabascan from Bristol Bay, a commercial fisherman, and a career educator running to represent Alaskans in D.C. so he can stand up to corruption and fight for a better economy that works for every family. He grew up in Kokhanok, a small community off the road system.
As a kid Bill chopped wood and cared for a sled dog team.
