Aesop Brighton Life Drawing Workshop

'An invigorating contrast—of light and shadow'

In celebration of the launch of the Antithesis Intense Body Cleanser, you are invited to an evening of artistic exploration of the human form, guided by the resident artists of the 2B Or Not 2B Collective—a POC-run art group focusing on uplifting marginalised bodies. You will be led through a clothed life drawing session, capturing the play of light and dark across the body.

Sessions will take place throughout August, at select Aesop stores across London and Brighton.
**Your ticket value of £20 of will be redeemable against any purchase you make on the evening (this must be made on the same night in store).

Class description:

For the workshop, we will be focussing on working exclusively with a monotone palette to highlight the contrasting themes of opposites - light and shadow, soft mark making against hard contours, large impressions against smaller details, and so forth.

All materials, paper and boards will be provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

Guidance and set pose times will be given by the tutor throughout the hour session.

All levels are welcome.

Schedule:

6:00pm - arrival (30 minutes) guests to be welcomed, have their hands washed with Antithesis, offered a refreshment, explore the space

6:30pm - guests take their seats and class begins (1 hour)

7:30pm - consultations and purchasing (30 minutes)

8:00pm - event close
