Advertisement for Research Assistant in Quantum Photonics (Part Time/Full Time) at BracU Optics and Photonics Research Group,EEE,BracUThe Department of EEE at Brac University invites applications for a Research Assistant position specializing in Quantum Photonics. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our cutting-edge research team engaged in pioneering studies focused on the manipulation and application of quantum states of light.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist in quantum photonics research activities, including the design and implementation of quantum optical simulation and experimental setups, data analysis, and the development of novel photonic devices. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with leading researchers and contribute to high-impact projects that advance the understanding of quantum phenomena.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field. A solid foundation in quantum mechanics and optics is essential, and experience in simulation work (COMSOL/TCAD/FDTD/SILVACO) is preferred. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in programming, and the ability to work collaboratively are also required.
