Adventure Walk - The Chilterns

Please note, for this train journey you will be required to arrange your own return train ticket, which you can purchase through the usual ticket providers online in advance or you can simply tap on/off with contactless payment on the day.

Trains to Henley on Thames.

We will be getting the 9:26am Elizabeth Line train from Ealing Broadway and then transfer trains to reach Henley on Thames (1 hour journey from Ealing).

Meeting point.

We will meet outside M&S at Ealing Broadway Station at 9am. We will be boarding the train as soon as boarding commences to try and ensure we can all get a seat, so please arrive no later than 9:15am.

Return to London.

We expect that this adventure walk will take approximately 5 hours and we plan to finish up back at Henley on Thames between 3-4pm.

What to bring.

Comfortable walking boots/shoes with good grip are required for this walk. The route has some hills, and depending on weather some parts may be slippy and muddy.

Drinking water is essential. Once we leave Henley on Thames station there will be no points to stop to buy refreshments until the end of the walk.

Lunch and snacks. We will plan a rest break for lunch, however they are no points during the walk to purchase food or drinks so please plan ahead and bring a pack lunch with you!
