FREE EVENT - Come paddle with ERM staff at Limestone Creek Natural Area and explore the SW Fork of the Loxahatchee River.
About this Event
Kayaks provided (single-person kayaks)
Join ERM biologists and enjoy the morning exploring the Southwest Fork of the Loxahatchee River by kayak. You might get a peek of the wildlife that call this area home, like the White Ibis, Great Blue Heron, or Florida Manatee.
Kayaks provided are all single-person kayaks, therefore, this event is not recommended for children that cannot paddle alone. Please be confident that you can handle this experience before signing up.
Please Note: Meet Up at the Limestone Creek Kayak Launch. The launch does not have a street address.

Directions: The meet up location is at Limestone Creek Natural Area Kayak Launch. From I-95, take Indiantown Rd exit and head east for ~1 mile, then turn left (north) on Central Boulevard. Limestone Creek Natural Area kayak launch is located on the left (west) side of Central Blvd, just south of the C-18 Canal.
Details/What to bring:
• Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty/wet.
• Bring water, sun protection, and bug spray
• Bring water and a water bottle
• Be prepared for a fun, wet outdoor activity. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, a dry bag and comfortable, appropriate clothing that will get wet.
Please no pets or unsupervised minors
This site does NOT have restroom facilities.
