Adventure Awaits - Kayaking for Beginners @ Winding Waters

Join us on an intro to kayaking tour of Winding Waters Natural Area.

Spending time in nature is one of the best things you can do for your heath. PBC ERM wants everyone to have access to this. However, fear often holds some individuals back from enjoying nature.

If you need a little extra assistance in learning to paddle we are inviting YOU on the water with us. We will go through a simple kayak trail and will assist along the whole way. This is a slow basic kayak trail where we will all move as a group.

The meet up location is at the parking lot: 6161 N Haverhill Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Please note that there are restroom facilities at nearby Dyer Park.

Kayaks provided are all single kayaks, therefore, this event is not recommended for children that cannot paddle alone.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty/wet.
• Bring water sun protection and bug spray
• Bring water and a water bottle.
• Be prepared for a fun, wet outdoor activity. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, a dry bag and comfortable, appropriate clothing that will get wet.

Please, no pets or unaccompanied minors.
