Advanced Improv Eastside - Issaquah

This advanced-level improv class is designed for students who have completed introductory training and are eager to strengthen their skills, expand their creative range, and create richer, more grounded scenes and stories. Drawing from the core curriculum of Unexpected Productions, this class focuses on confidence, connection, and long-form storytelling in a supportive, playful environment.

In this class, you’ll move beyond learning what improv is and start refining how you improv. Through focused exercises, ensemble games, and scene work, you’ll explore character, emotional honesty, and narrative structure, learning how to build scenes that feel alive, surprising, and meaningful. The emphasis is not on jokes, but on listening deeply, making bold choices, and trusting your instincts.

Whether you’re a working professional looking to sharpen communication and presence, a returning improviser craving growth, or a creative seeking a deeper outlet, this class offers both challenge and encouragement. You’ll work with a consistent group, developing trust and ensemble awareness while pushing your comfort zone in productive, joyful ways.

Unexpected Productions Improv School is excited to bring advanced improv training to Issaquah, serving the Sammamish Plateau, East Renton, Bellevue, Snoqualmie Valley, and surrounding Eastside communities.

Cost: $270 ($282.29 with fees and taxes)

Prerequisite: Intro to Improv or equivalent experience

Note: This class builds quickly on shared foundations. Prior improv experience is required.
