About this Event

Learn or re-learn how to ride a bicycle.

The Learn-to-Ride Class: Adults and Teens is for teens (15-years or older)* and adults who want to learn or re-learn how to ride a bicycle.

With our safe, easy, and efficient curriculum, participants will gain the confidence by learning the fundamental bike riding skills. Most participants leave knowing how to ride a bike.

*A parent or guardian must be present for minors.

In this class, you'll learn:

  • Basic bike riding skills, including starting, stopping, steering, and balancing
  • How to adjust a bike helmet for appropriate fit
  • How to adjust a bike’s seat to your height
  • Discounted access to the Heartland Bike Share System and resources for continuing your bicycling journey

Bikes and helmets are provided for all participants.
