Trailblazers is thrilled to bring Adult First Ride to Fayetteville with Swahili Interpretation! If you are an adult who has never learned how to ride a bike or it's been a long time, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
This session is specifically intended for Swahili speakers. A Swahili interpreter will be on-site for the duration of the session, thanks to . This class is led by and is free and open to the public.
Adult First Ride is split into three lessons, covering crucial topics like balancing, pedaling, braking, shifting, turning, safety, and more. (See the Agenda for more details) Whether you're just learning how to pedal or seeking to enhance your abilities, this class is made for you.
No bike? No problem. Bikes and helmets and all learning equipment will be provided by Trailblazers. (Our standard class bike is the Specialized Roll 2.0, with a 300lb weight limit and a step-through frame. )
Interested in taking a FREE bike home? For those who join us for the full series, you can leave with new skills AND a free refurbished bike and helmet thanks to our partnership with Pedal It Forward. (Be sure to sign up for all three dates and choose the Free Bike Add-on when purchasing your ticket!)
Location: Our first two lessons will take place at Centennial Park. Please see the image below and look for Trailblazers!
NOTE: Our third lesson will take place at Walker Park. This will give us easy access to the greenway and neighborhood streets for our group ride!
This class is free of charge but hey, here's the deal – this class is available thanks to community and sponsorship support. If you register but something comes up, please notify us as soon as possible. If you notify us 48 hours before class, we can invite someone else to take part in this unique opportunity.
