January 14 - The Reset Ritual

“Let nature show you how to begin again”

In this adult field trip, we will explore the power of the reset. Nature uses winter as a time to slow down and prepare for what’s to come in the spring, why shouldn’t you? Using your new journal, explore journaling prompts, goal setting language, and reflect on the year past. Without knowing where you have been, its difficult to know where you are going. Includes: journaling kit, journaling prompt cards, and guided activities to make this your best year yet! Upgrade your journaling kit as an add-on.

February 11 - Kitchen Herb Garden: Italian Edition

“Spice up your love life and your Italian dishes”

You’ve always wanted a little indoor garden full of fresh herbs to spice up your cooking, now is the perfect time to create one! In this adult field trip we will explore 3 herbs commonly used in Italian cooking, a few ways to preserve your fresh herbs, and build your very own indoor herb garden for that garden fresh taste year round. All supplies and materials included. Add-ons available.

March 11 - Gyotaku: Freshwater Edition

“Explore the history and magic of fish printing”

Discover the Japanese art of fish printing using native North Carolina fish species. This adult field trip isn’t a simple paint by number, it’s an exploration of art, culture and ancient techniques. Discover which river basin you live in, what fish might live in the rivers, and create your own fish prints that are both art and keepsakes. All supplies and materials included for 3 fish prints. Add-ons available.

These field trips are designed to reconnect you with nature, learn a new skill, and leave with something meaningful you created yourself.
