**Adrian West Trio** is the “intimate” version of the Adrian West Band, an Oakland-based acoustic rock ensemble that describes itself as "Paul Simon meets Talking Heads". We play a fun mix of acoustic rock originals, covers and instrumentals featuring Amy Obenski on vocal harmonies and percussion, Adrian West on acoustic guitar, electric violin & live looping, and Jonny Kaminek on upright bass. Adrian likes his songs to stand on their own musically, independent of the lyrics, but whether he’s telling a story or commenting on some challenge facing humanity, his lyrics are fueled by equal parts hope, clear-eyed realism and lighthearted whimsy.

**Ruby Ruby/Madeline Tasquin Trio:**
Singing for You: Built on blood harmonies from not-blood sisters Judy Butterfield and Anya Rome, Ruby Ruby's original songs are melodious folk weavings of two hearts that can't sit still. Painted with the colors of the California coast and the high mountain desert, their sound resonates with longing and love for 70s folksinger poets of America, and the spaces between what's said. Together with the queenly and captivating musical chameleon Madeline Tasquin, and guided by her capricious Muses, this trio sinks into their deep groove and sings to you of your familiar and delicious yearning for people, places and things that may never even have existed.

**Sucker Crush:**
Sucker Crush is the songwriting project of Marissa Deitz, an Oakland-based composer and multi-instrumentalist. Sucker Crush plays regularly around the Bay, expanding or collapsing between sounds of shrieking rock feedback and delicate solo guitar fingerpicking with a rotating cast of talented musicians bringing the songs to life. At its core, Sucker Crush is a vessel for thoughtful, confessional lyrics about connection, isolation, plants, pets, video games, and the ever-present dread of existing in our era. At KiloWatt she will be joined by Lewis Patzner (cello) and Tim DeCillis (drums).
