On Saturday, April 12th from 1:00–5:00 PM, the Distillery of Modern Art in Chamblee, GA becomes the premiere host of Metro Atlanta's newest community tradition: a free, family-friendly pop-up market where live pet adoption meets local shopping, craft beverages, and even better people.
What's happening:
🐾 Live Pet Adoption — Adoptable animals from Lifeline Animal Project and DeKalb Animal Services will be on-site and ready to find their forever homes. Whether you're ready to adopt or just want to meet some incredible animals, come say hello.
🛍️ Curated Local Vendors — Shop a handpicked lineup of Metro Atlanta small businesses including festival hair by a local salon team, sweet treats from Bliss B Bakery and Sugar Rush ATL, coffee from Kin Coffee, pet goods from Pup Crunch LLC, and more.
📖 Live Author Appearance — Join children's author Gina Gallois for a live reading of Artemis Opossum — a perfect moment for the little ones in your crew.
🍦 King of Pops On-Site — Grab a handcrafted popsicle, and treat your pup to a FREE pupsicle on us while supplies last — sponsored by FCI Brookhaven.
✂️ Festival Hair Station — Get a fun, decorative festival style from a live salon team on-site. Available for children, teens, and adults.
🎨 Live Portrait Art by Hunnidew Draws — Get a one-of-a-kind B&W sketch of you or your pet on the spot — or upgrade to full color for a little extra. A keepsake worth framing.
