About this Event
**IN-PERSON TICKET** Adapting Richmond’s Shoreline and Its Industrial Legacy: A Community Conversation on Building a Resilient Future is a free community event to learn from experts about sea level rise adaptation in Richmond. Attendees will hear expert panelists with a range of specialties speak about sea level rise resiliency planning, contaminated sites issues along Richmond's shoreline, and the importance of planning for sea level rise in Richmond and regional communities.
The live event will take place in person and online. The in-person event will be held in the City Council Chambers, located at 440 Civic Center Plaza in Richmond, California. The City Council Chambers are in the former Hall of Justice building. The event will take place from 1-4 PM and will feature focused panel discussions on pre-determined topics. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments during a session break halfway through the event. Translation to Spanish will also be available. Parking is available across from the Richmond Main Library Branch at 325 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA, 94804.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a sea level rise community survey, where residents can share their vision and goals for sea level rise adaptation planning in Richmond.
