Join us for a fantastic night of live jazz as Adam Thomas & The Root Note take the stage at the Gold Coast City Jazz Club at Southport Bowls Club on Tuesday 4 August from 7-10pm.
Fronted by powerhouse saxophonist Adam Thomas, this is a show not to be missed. A standout on the Australian jazz scene, Adam has performed with the who’s who of music, including Monica Trapaga, Kate Ceberano, James Morrison, Tom Burlinson and Nikki Parrott.
A current member of Galapagos Duck, Adam has performed, recorded and toured globally, earning a reputation for his electrifying stage presence, soaring sax lines and world-class musicianship.
Backed by Brendon St Ledger on keys, David Sanders on drums, Aaron West on guitar and Thierry Fossemalle on bass, this powerhouse group is set to deliver an evening of world-class jazz, appealing to all lovers of the genre- from timeless standards to Latin grooves, funk, bebop and hard bop.
