About this Event
Introduction to Acting Foundations
This three-hour workshop is your first step into Actorium’s Improv or Foundations of Acting + Scene Study path. After completing this intro, you can choose to continue with either of the classes.
The Foundations Intro centres on presence, authenticity, and experiencing. Through guided exercises, you’ll explore what it means to work with self-consciousness, open emotionally, and connect truthfully with yourself and others.
Working with Actorium’s core areas of study—Public Solitude, Emotional Opening, and the Meisner Technique—you’ll begin to identify your inner blocks, soften them, and discover a clearer, more grounded sense of self in your work.
This workshop supports beginners, returning actors, the supernaturally shy, and anyone seeking deeper presence in both life and performance.
