Come and visit the ACT Woodcraft Guild members’ Annual Exhibition and sales event Fri 3 – Mon 6 Oct 2025. Daily hours are Fri 11:30-4:30, Sat & Sun 9:30am-4:30pm, Mon 9:30-2:30pm
Location: The Banksia Centre, Australian National Botanic Gardens.
The Guild is an organisation of people based in the ACT and surrounding region who love wood and love to make things with it. Discover the finest work of the Guild, meet the members and see the members in action in a variety of woodworking demonstrations. Its members come from diverse backgrounds, ages and levels of expertise.
Free demonstrations throughout the exhibition including:
• turning bowls
• spoon and stool carving
• pyrography (the art of burning designs into wood)
• scroll saws
There will be a large range of hand-crafted items for sale, including:
• Turned pens
• Kitchen utensils
• Chopping boards
• Bowls
• Toys
• Boxes
