Act One, Take Up Space

WHERE: Studio A, BMO Theatre Centre

This 90-minute introductory acting workshop is designed for self-identifying BIPOC adults who want to explore their creative side, meet their inner artist, and build confidence in their self-expression. Through playful exercises, voice work, and scene work rooted in their own backgrounds, participants will learn to take up space unapologetically. This is a judgment-free zone where culture, language, and personal stories are celebrated.

ACCESSIBILITY

The BMO Theatre Centre is wheelchair accessible, and has physically accessible and gender-neutral washrooms.

Priority seating is held for those with accessibility needs. We ask that patrons request accessible seats in their order notes and we will reserve accessible seating on a first come, first serve basis.
