Activity Description:
This unique multi-class workshop will walk you through the basics of acrylic paint as you are guided step-by-step in creating beautiful land and seascapes. This workshop is great for beginners and intermediate-level artists alike. The experienced instructor will approach the workshop from a new perspective, helping students to build a strong foundation in the medium. After completing the workshop, students will be prepared to continue honing their skills in a follow-up course to be held in the future.

-Properties of acrylic paint
-Beginner level color mixing and blending
-Blending techniques
-Washes
-Basic backgrounds
-Basic composition and design
-Paint layering techniques
-Paint brush types and proper usage
Each session is approximately 2 hours long. We highly recommend attending all classes in the workshop, as each class builds on the last. However, we allow drop-ins for individual sessions. Students must register at least 24 hours in advance of the next session.
Price: $315 for the entire workshop for non-members or $270. Ask us how to become a member. A deposit of $100 is required at the time of registration. The remaining balance is due at the first class. The drop-in fee per session is $45. Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Special Financing Option: We are offering automatic monthly payments of $120 for non-members ($360 total course fee) or $112 per month for members for those who would like to pay in installments.
