Centering Families, Strengthening Communities, and Supporting Youth Mental Health


Youth, families, caregivers, professionals, and community partners from across Michigan are coming together for a day of connection, learning, and collaboration to strengthen support for youth mental health.

Held during Suicide Prevention Month, this gathering highlights the importance of community, awareness, and ensuring no one feels alone.

Welcome, Opening, and Keynote

Info: The day begins with a warm welcome from the ACMH and DWIHN teams, followed by remarks from a legislative or government representative. This opening will set the tone for meaningful conversations and action, highlighting the importance of youth voice, community collaboration, and shared responsibility in shaping youth mental health. Participants will leave energized and ready to engage in the day’s activities.


🕑: 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM
Keynote Address
Host: Yarden Blumstein

Info: Yarden Blumstein will invite participants to move beyond surface-level conversation and toward collaboration that creates real change. Through storytelling, Yarden will share how unexpected people and moments can have lasting impact, and why staying open—especially during conflict or discomfort—is essential to progress. This keynote sets the stage for the day’s mosaic, showing that contrast and tension are not obstacles but essential pieces that make the whole picture stronger.

Build the Mosaic: Interactive Activities & Resource Fair

Info: Take some time before lunch to explore the Resource Fair, connect with fellow participants, and engage with our interactive breakout activities. This is a great opportunity to network, discover helpful resources, and dive into hands-on experiences designed to inform and inspire.

Lunch & Networking

Info: Take a well-deserved break and enjoy a delicious lunch while connecting with fellow attendees! This is a great time to relax, refuel, and network with youth, adult supporters, advocates, and mental health professionals. While you dine, enjoy live entertainment designed to inspire, energize, and bring a little fun to your day.

Afternoon Panel: Piecing It Together

Info: Hear directly from youth and young adults as they share their experiences navigating mental health systems, reflect on what has supported them, and explore opportunities for meaningful change. This panel centers lived experience and provides space for authentic conversation, audience Q&A, and actionable insights for attendees.

Closing Remarks & Giveaway

Info: Wrap up the day with inspiring closing remarks that celebrate the contributions of all attendees. Those who completed their Resource Fair mosaic will be entered into a special giveaway, honoring everyone who engaged with the many resources supporting youth mental health.
