Michigan Statewide Dam Risk Prioritization

Michigan’s Dam Safety Program is nearing completion of a statewide dam risk prioritization project. This project utilizes screening level risk assessments (SLRA) for roughly 200 high and significant hazard dams across the state to inform risk prioritization for resource allocations in grant funding, compliance and enforcement, and emergency response activities.
