About this Event

RealBirth Private Teacher Training

through our accredited training programme.

Through our accredited programme, you will learn how to facilitate the RealBirth antenatal course, supporting families to develop a deeper understanding of the physiology of labour and birth, explore their options and preferences. By strengthening knowledge and confidence during pregnancy, RealBirth educators help women, people and families feel more prepared, informed and supported when making decisions about their birth.

Our training equips you with the skills to establish and run your own antenatal classes or personalised one-to-one sessions within a private framework, creating the opportunity to build a meaningful and sustainable education practice.

Upon completion, you will become a certified RealBirth Programme Antenatal Educator and gain access to the RealBirth Educator Hub, providing ongoing resources, guidance and peer support.

Training places are offered through four scheduled training cohorts each year, with participants pre-booked into upcoming sessions rather than selecting dates individually on the website.

If you are an NHS professional, we also offer a tailored training pathway designed specifically for maternity teams delivering education within NHS services.

Your Opportunity as a RealBirth Educator

Once trained, you will have the opportunity to run your own antenatal courses and workshops within your community.

Typical RealBirth classes include 5–6 families per course, creating a supportive and interactive learning environment.

For example:

  • 6 families attending a course
  • £220 per family for a full antenatal programme

This could generate around £1,320 per course.

Running just one course per month could generate approximately:

£15,000+ per year alongside your existing professional role.

Many educators choose to run a few courses per year, while others build a more regular programme depending on their availability.
