Accessible History Walk in Dun Laoghaire
About this Event
Join local historian Rob Goodbody for an inclusive, accessible, and engaging history walk. Open to ages 14+ and all abilities, particularly welcoming neurodiverse people and people with a physical & sensory disability.
We will meet at the Victoria Fountain in Dún Laoghaire on Sunday 12 July at 3:00 PM. The walk will be relaxed and very easy-paced, with stops along the route to explore key historical points, finishing at the People’s Park. This section will take approximately 30–45 minutes.
Participants who wish to continue can join an extended walk along the scenic East Pier in Dun Laoghaire, offering stunning coastal views.
Whether you're easing into physical activity or simply looking to enjoy a gentle, history-filled stroll, this walk is for you.
Rob Goodbody will lead the walk, supported by staff to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all.
