Join Golden Eagle Audubon for our monthly accessible and inclusive bird outing in a beautiful natural setting. Kathryn Albertson Park is a 41-acre special use park located near downtown Boise, and is part of the Idaho Birding Trail. A haven for wildlife and quiet contemplation, the park features wide, paved paths and outdoor gazebos in a beautiful natural setting. The most common birds here are songbirds, geese, ducks, kingfishers, and herons. We will be covering up to 2 miles on smooth paved and boardwalk surfaces. We will be moving at a relaxed pace and many benches are placed throughout the park if you would like to rest.
This field trip was created with inclusion and accessibility for those with disabilities in mind. Everyone is welcome to join us! Please use the special needs question in the registration form to let us know more about your accessibility needs and how we can best support your participation. You are welcome to join us for all or part of the outing.
