Academic Writing Month (AcWriMo) - Three-day Retreat
About this Event
Convened by the Researcher Development Academy, this 3-day, in-person event is part of November’s Academic Writing Month program (AcWriMo). It is held at Deakin Downtown.
The aim of the retreat is to enable you to devote time to your writing. It provides a space in which to focus on an extended piece of work (e.g. a book chapter, an article for publication, a conference paper, or thesis chapter).
Please note: All Deakin researchers of any career stage are welcome to join AcWriMo event. Preference is given to researchers who can attend the three days of the retreat.
The writing retreat will feature the pomodoro method of time-boxing (25-minute sprints) and this is facilitated by the RDA's academic team. Please note that the writing retreat is purely for getting your writing done. It does not provide writing workshops.
