Absolute Beginners Crochet Class.
Welcome to the amazing, creative world of crochet.
Our crochet class will introduce you to the most commonly used crochet stitches and give you the confidence you’ll need to try so many interesting projects.
We provide all the crochet tools & materials for this class and focus on helping those with no experience to gain the skills they need to start their own crochet projects.
You will learn how to:
• Select the right hook size for your yarn.
• Use a crochet hook and yarn comfortably.
• Make a slipknot to begin your work.
• And create the Foundation Chain for the following stitches:
o a Slip Stitch.
o a Single Crochet.
o a Half Double Crochet.
o a Double Crochet
• How to weave in your ends at the finish of a project.
Our beginner classes focus on giving students confidence in a warm and welcoming environment. They are encouraged to work at their own speed and to ask questions throughout the session.
Students will leave the class with their own crochet swatches and the skills and inspiration to begin their crochet journey.
Run over two days during the school holidays and open to all ages.
Tickets are $110 for two days, and can be purchased at www.middlemost.com.au
