July Adult Learn To Sew.
Join us for a month long adventure of sewing.
At the completion of this four week course students should be able to confidently handle a sewing machine, pin and cut basic patterns, and complete simple sewing tasks.
We will teach students how to safely handle a sewing machine, including threading and filling a bobbin and trouble shooting.
This is a small group, so students will be able to move at their own pace with lots of guidance.
We will work on a take home project each week.
This may include any of the following:
Tote bag.
Coin purse or pencil case.
Cushion cover.
Skirt.
Shorts.
Each student will be able to design their project and get a taste of sustainable sewing.
All materials and sewing machines are provided (although they are welcome to bring their own).
Students will need to wear enclosed shoes.
