After a standout first edition, Abrupt returns to Brussels this October, sharper, more focused, and more connected to the tensions shaping sound and culture than ever.
From 8 to 12 October, Abrupt unfolds across a series of distinctive venues in Brussels. The festival presents a curated selection of live performances, club nights, talks, and gatherings, each one tuned to the shifting frequencies of a hyperdiverse musical landscape.
Organised by the non-profit behind Reset, the temporary brutalist cultural space in central Brussels, Abrupt reflects the organisation’s broader commitment to independent artistic creation.

To celebrate the release of SIIIX Vol. 2, the second installment in an ongoing series where the percussionists of HIIIT (formerly Slagwerk Den Haag) engage in sonic dialogues with artists from across the electronic music landscape, Belgian label Maloca brings the project to life on the Ter Arken stage. Expect a live interpretation of the record’s boundary-pushing repertoire, featuring special performances from Rrose and Upsammy.
