After a standout first edition, Abrupt returns to Brussels this October, sharper, more focused, and more connected to the tensions shaping sound and culture than ever.From 8 to 12 October, Abrupt unfolds across a series of distinctive venues in Brussels. The festival presents a curated selection of live performances, club nights, talks, and gatherings, each one tuned to the shifting frequencies of a hyperdiverse musical landscape.
Organised by the non-profit behind Reset, the temporary brutalist cultural space in central Brussels, Abrupt reflects the organisation’s broader commitment to independent artistic creation.

Abrupt teams up with Ancienne Belgique and Brussels collective Nebula for a one-off edition of the AB at Night series. The night features DJs and producers exploring electronic sounds with African and Latin American influences, combining heavy bass and percussive rhythms with an immersive scenography.

Nebula

Nebula is a Brussels-based collective that bridges nightlife and the arts, creating events that are both immersive and innovative. Musically, they focus on electronic sounds infused with African and Latin American influences, showcasing DJs and producers who push global club music to new limits with heavy bass and vibrant, percussive rhythms.
On the artistic side, Nebula draws inspiration from every form of art they encounter, translating it into ever-evolving experiences that harmonise with each venue. This contemporary approach to scenography is enriched by their own experiences within the scene, offering a fresh perspective on how space, sound,and art interact. From sweaty club nights to refreshing exhibitions, Nebula moves fluidly between nightlife and the arts, creating moments that surprise and engage.
