Join us for the Aberdeen Christmas Parade and Charlie House Santa Run this Sunday!The Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron, will get the festivities underway, with Santas on scooters setting off just after 5.15pm followed by the Charlie House Santa Fun Run on Union Street and Union Terrace at 5.25pm.
The main parade will set off at 5.30pm from Albyn Place and make its way down Union Street before turning onto Union Terrace and finishing at His Majesty's Theatre.
The parade will feature familiar favourites such as Santa and giant elves, as well as panto characters from various Aberdeen productions, festive floats, music performances from the Rock Choir and Aberdeen Churches Together, local charities, sports groups and community organisations, all led by Dunnottar Pipes and Drums.
Aberdeen's Christmas Tree, gifted from our twin city of Stavanger in Norway, will also be lit.
