AARP Driver Safety program

The AARP Driver Safety program originally 55 ALIVE has assisted mature drivers nationally for over 40 years though people of all ages can benefit from attending. Some attendee benefits include confidence building FL traffic law and technology updates and frequent auto insurance discounts generated by the receipt of a certificate of completion. This 6-hour seminar-style course is approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Florida is one of 23 states which has a law that mandates an insurance discount for qualified participants on their auto insurance policy. Course location and schedule are available at the aarp.org website. There will be on October 21 at the Life Enrichment Center. RSVP to 850-892-8746 M-Th 9-4. There is a small cost for materials.
