As we in the north reach the longest night of the year, we’re invited to do what nature does: go inward, rest in the darkness, and welcome back the light. Before the holiday rush begins, join Katrina Gustafson and Michael Shankara for a weekend of renewal at the foot of Tava, the mountain the Ute people called the Sun Mountain.
THE WEEKEND
Daily yoga, Qigong, and gentle movement. Two tea ceremonies and tarot guidance. A 2-hour soak at SunWater Spa. A walking meditation among the red rocks of the Garden of the Gods. A Winter Solstice fire ceremony with live music, chanting, and story sharing, followed by stargazing under the winter sky. Together we’ll set sankalpas, heart-centered intentions to carry with us as the light returns.

2-hour SunWater Spa experience (hot spring soak, salt water pool, infrared sauna, cold plunge, and glass teepee)
