A Weekend Introduction to Market Gardening (June 27-28)

The Market Gardening Basics Workshop runs from Saturday morning to Sunday late afternoon and takes place directly in our working market garden in Märkisch Wilmersdorf.

This course offers a broad and practical overview of market gardening, following the methods and principles of the Market Gardener Masterclass.

Participants are introduced to all key areas:
including farm design, daily work structures, tools, nursery and seedling production, direct seeding, harvesting, logistics and workflow, as well as business strategies, restaurant collaborations, agroforestry, permaculture, no-till systems, and livestock integration. Our flower and herb garden is also part of the program.

With a maximum of 25 participants, the course offers an interactive and personal learning experience. Throughout the weekend, participants are well taken care of, with all meals provided. On Saturday evening, we gather a shared dinner, followed by time around the fire for relaxed conversation and connection.
Camping in the garden is possible for those who wish to stay on-site.
This weekend is about learning, finding inspiration, and experiencing market gardening in a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere.
