About this Event

Neville Brody, one of the world’s most influential graphic designers, talks to broadcaster Bill Thompson about design, typography and his long career shaping our visual world.

A deeply influential designer, typographer, and brand strategist, Brody is synonymous with the idea of a ‘visual language’ and is acclaimed globally for a body of work that spans more than four decades. He is renowned for experimentation and pushing creative boundaries in all aspects of his practice.

This spirit of exploration and the pursuit of excellence inform the approach of Brody Associates, the collaborative creative agency he founded in 2014. Brody Associates specialises in identity, typography, and cross-platform visual-language system from print to pixel to physical. Their clients include Coca-Cola, BBC, Sony Music, Channel 4, Christian Dior, Supreme, Mayo Clinic, The Times, Samsung, and Shiseido.

The conversation will range across all elements of his career, including the influential FUSE project, the groundbreaking Blur font, and work for the BBC and many other organisations.

Previously president of D&AD, Brody is Professor of Communication at the Royal College of Art and a Royal Designer for Industry and continues to break new creative ground to this day.
