About this Event
Join Denise! Denise! PhD to kiki and then strategize various ways to identify possible dissertation topics. We'll also workshop how to successfully navigate the process of defending your topic to your intellectual gatekeepers (i.e., dissertation committee, who are acting supposedly on behalf of the department, university, disicipline, and professoriate). We'll collectively identify the multiple, sometimes competing factors that influence our ultimate research question -- practical, scientific, personal, political, interpersonal, etc. And, of course, we'll actually workshop dissertation topics (if you have one or more in mind)!
Two-spirit, agender, non-binary, trans, intersex, and genderfluid graduate students at any stage of the dissertation process (still in course work, pre-pre-diss proposal, or even just diss curious) are invited for this kiki.
