Objectives:

By completing this training, participants will:

1. Understand how to gain a full Biopsychosocial while ensuring a client feels safe, contained, heard, and respected; while building early rapport.
2. Participants will gain a general understanding of the Adverse ChildhoodExperiences (ACEs) and the neurobiology of trauma and the importance of assessing for ACES.
3. Be able to identify at least 3 reasons why clinicians sometimes struggle to maintain effective boundaries with clients and the importance of critically evaluating self disclosure.
4. Recognize how diversity can impact diagnostic assessment and treatment/intervention planning and access to healthcare and mental healthcare.

Please Note:

This training will be conducted live via Zoom. We ask that you keep your cameras on for the majority of the session, but your microphones muted unless you need to get the attention of one of the hosts.

Regarding CEUs

Certificates of Attendance for CEs will be emailed to partcipants email (from registration) once their final evaluation of the program has been completed.

The CEUs will hold the original title of the training "Empowering the New Clinical Social Worker - Part 2." The title is the only thing that is different from the original training. 😁

Rebecca Rondeau, LICSW, MLADC (she/her)

Rebecca found an early passion for helping others and has a deep commitment to creating a safe space for others to heal and create a life that feels full and whole using an eclectic style incorporating DBT, IFS, and ACT.

She received her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Boston College in 2004. Since then she has provided direct therapy services in settings from outpatient to residential, with people of all ages. Also leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams while providing supervision to MSW interns, MSW graduates seeking licensure, and psychological fellows.

Rebecca enjoys teaching and training other providers. She has been responsible for developing and facilitating training programs around initial assessment, clinical documentation, risk management and safety planning, collaborative treatment planning, and trauma informed care.

Rebecca resides in NH with her family where she owns and operates her private practice, providing therapy and supervision via telehealth to NH, ME, MA, VT, VA, DC, and FL. Connect with her from her website: www.rondeautherapyservices.com.

Jennifer Wolfe-Hagstrom, LICSW (she/they)

With a background in special education and working with marginalized populations for nearly two decades, Jennifer's clinical practice focuses on helping clients of any gender or sexual identity heal from trauma, learn to love themselves fiercely, and live a life they love. She utilizes Animal Assisted Therapy, Self-Compassion, Mindfulness, and Creative Expression Activities in sessions.

With an MSW from Hunter College in NYC in 2014, Jennifer brings her drive for inclusion and compassion to her private practice in Nashua, NH and beyond. Jennifer works with sensitive NeuroDivergent trauma survivors within the LGBTQIA+ communities. Jennifer shares their knowledge of social work and creativity via clinical supervision and trainings related to self-care, vicarious trauma, burnout, mindfulness, self-compassion, and affirming care. Jennifer weaves creativity into all of her work and is also known to share her love of SoulCollage® in online workshops with fellow helpers and healers.

Jennifer resides in NH with her family and animals and provides clinical services and supervision to folx in NH, ME, and VT.
