From May 11–15, 2026, we’ll settle into the charming MZ Hotel Rome, our home base just steps from lively piazzas and tucked-away trattorias. Each morning starts with a classic Italian breakfast before we set out to uncover the Eternal City.
You’ll walk in the footsteps of emperors on our guided tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, and spend an intimate afternoon at the Borghese Gallery, home to Bernini’s breathtaking sculptures. We’ll balance our guided experiences with time for you to wander at your own pace: a self-guided morning through the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, followed by a quiet visit inside St. Peter’s Basilica. After lunch, we’ll continue the story of Rome at Castel Sant’Angelo, once a fortress for popes and now one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Of course, no Roman escape is complete without a taste of its culinary magic—that’s why we’ll roll up our sleeves for a hands-on pasta-making class (with spritzes included). Along the way, we’ll stop at the Pantheon, toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain, and savor those small moments—like sipping espresso in a sunlit piazza or watching the glow of the city at golden hour.
