About this Event

Two of the Cathedral's choirs collaborate in an evening of choral highlights and lesser-known gems, interspersing works with royal connections and pieces from the the landmark mid-20th century collection, A Garland for the Queen. Works by William Walton and former Master of the Queen's Music Judith Weir are accompanied by Handel's ever-green Zadok the Priest and partsongs by Arthur Bliss, Michael Tippett and Robert Pearsall. Roxanna Panufnik's Coronation Sanctus, Rachel Laurin's masterful Te Deum and Ralph Vaughan Williams' masterpiece Serenade to Music round-off an evening not to be missed!
