A Running Mechanics Clinic with Bobby McGee
About this Event
Whether you're training for your first triathlon or chasing a PR at your next 70.3, your run form is either working for you — or quietly costing you time and energy. This clinic changes that.
Bobby McGee is one of the most respected run coaches in the world. He has coached Olympic medalists, IRONMAN world champions, and thousands of everyday endurance athletes. He is the author of Run Workouts for Runners and Triathletes and has spent decades studying what makes athletes run more efficiently, more durably, and with less injury.
On June 27th, Bobby is bringing his expertise directly to the G2G community for a 3-hour, fully interactive running mechanics clinic in Boulder.
What You'll Cover
🏃 Running biomechanics — posture, forward lean, and how to stop leaking energy with every stride
🦵 The kinetic chain — how your arms, shoulders, hips, and ankles all talk to each other (and what happens when they don't)
⚡ Leg-spring stiffness and ground contact time — the two biggest levers for running economy
🔁 Drills, drills, drills — you'll work through a full sequence including A-skips, B-skips, high knees, butt kicks, wall pushes, and more, with coaching cues on each
👁️ Live form feedback — Bobby will observe athletes moving and provide real-time coaching corrections
Who This Is For
This clinic is open to the public and designed for triathletes, runners, and endurance athletes of all experience levels. Whether you're brand new to running mechanics work or you've been coached before and want a fresh set of expert eyes — you will leave with something actionable.
