Join us for A Roaring Affair: the first annual Best Friends Mentoring Program Gala

Every child deserves someone who shows up for them.
Since 1995, Best Friends Mentoring Program has matched caring adult mentors with kids in southwest North Dakota who need guidance, encouragement and friendship. More than 3,000 young people have been mentored, one hour and one friendship at a time.
This January, we’re celebrating Mentor Month with our very first gala, a Gatsby-themed evening of gold, glamour and giving. Every ticket, table, bid and dessert helps match another child with a mentor who believes in them.
About the program
Best Friends Mentoring Program is a 501(c)(3) under the Western Wellness Foundation. It serves youth in Dickinson and communities across southwest North Dakota through two programs:
1.) One-to-One Mentoring: A mentor meets with a mentee for one hour each week, at school or in the community.
2.) Group Mentoring: A 12-week after-school series on life skills, personal growth and future goals.
Funds raised here stay here, and 100% of them support local kids.
The evening:
5:00 PM: Cocktail hour, live music and a speakeasy silent auction
6:00 PM: Welcome, opening remarks and supper
The Dessert Dash: Tables pool donations, and the top table gets first pick of showstopper desserts from local bakers
8:00 PM: Live auction
Individual tickets: $100
Reserve a sponsor table
Each table seats 8 guests and puts your business front and center for a cause that matters.
The Diamond, $5,000
Front-row table for 8, a dedicated personal server, upgraded centerpieces, two bottles of champagne, a full-page ad in the event program, table signage with your logo, recognition from the stage, and social media recognition before and after the event.
The Emerald, $2,500
Preferred-seating table for 8, one bottle of champagne, a half-page ad in the event program, table signage with your logo, recognition from the stage, and social media recognition.
The Pearl, $1,000
Reserved table for 8, table signage with your name, your name listed in the event program, and a social media thank-you after the event.
Can’t make it? You can still give.
A donation of any size helps a child in our community get matched with a mentor. You can also donate an item to our silent or live auction, or bake a showstopper for the Dessert Dash.
