Hi! My name is Christelle with Aquila Food. I’m organizing the Dickinson Baking Championship: Christmas Pastry Gala at Prairie Hills Mall on December 5, and I’m reaching out to some local and home bakers I think would be a great fit!
Participating bakers will enter one pastry for the competition and provide samples for ticketed attendees, who will score each baker on Taste and Appearance. We’ll have a Best Taste winner and a Best Appearance winner.
After the competition, bakers will be able to sell their baked goods directly to the public from 1–4 PM, so it’s also a great opportunity to showcase your business, meet new customers, and hopefully pick up some Christmas orders.
Each baker receives a 6-foot table and two chairs. Registration is $50 through October 31 and increases to $60 beginning November 1. Spots are limited.
