Please note that this event will start promptly at 6pm for the in-conversation so that there is plenty of time to enjoy the puppies. As always, weâll be heading somewhere nearby after - come along if youâre not quite ready to call it a night!
Meet Your Hosts
is a British-HK-Kiwi writer and editor, based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) in Aotearoa New Zealand. She holds an MA in Creative Writing, and her work has been published in a number of literary journals and magazines. When not writing, you'll find Jackie petting all the animals and eating all the noods.
is an award-winning writer, editor and literary advocate. Her debut novel, , has been published internationally and translated into multiple languages. Emma is the founder of yinfluence, an agency supporting PoC, queer and neurodivergent writers by connecting them with editors and mentors who understand the stakes of telling stories from the margins.
is a Vietnamese-Australian writer of adult fiction. She currently lives in Sydney with two very goofy dogs. Donât tell them, but Jacquie also loves cats. , her debut novel, was published in 2024. She is represented by Danya Kukafka at Trellis Literary Management.
