A PLACE FOR THE WORK
About this Event
On the third day of THE ROUGH NOTES FESTIVAL, novelists Olivia Muenter and Casey Scieszka discuss the spaces, communities, and audiences that make creative work possible. Olivia, whose newsletter and podcast helped build the audience for her two bestselling novels, and Casey, who runs an artist residency from her Catskills inn, explore the practical architecture of a creative life—and the work of sustaining it.
ABOUT THE ROUGH NOTES FESTIVAL
Presented by Kinderhook Books, the three-day event is, at its core, a literary festival—but it also celebrates the craft of writing in all its forms: songwriting, stand-up comedy, screenwriting, art, design, and more.
