Commemorating America's 250th Anniversary - A Tribute to American Legacy: Gala & Awards Ceremony
About this Event

Join us for an evening of celebration and inspiration!

As our country approaches its 250th anniversary, we are reminded that America’s story has never been written by one generation or one people alone. It has been shaped — piece by piece — by the dreams, sacrifices, and triumphs of countless communities who believed in the promise of this nation. And among the voices that have strengthened that promise, the Latino community has been a steadfast source of courage, creativity, and inspiration.

For centuries, Latinos have woven their stories into the fabric of America: the families who built new lives from nothing, the leaders who broke barriers, the artists who redefined culture, the entrepreneurs who imagined what didn’t yet exist, and the young people who continue to carry our legacy forward with pride and determination. Their contributions are not simply chapters in America’s history — they are pillars of its identity.

It is with that profound truth in mind that the Hispanic 100 Foundation (a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization) proudly presents “A NIGHT OF DISTINCTION”. This evening is more than a gala; it is a tribute to the journey of our community over 250 years — a journey marked by resilience, brilliance, and an unshakeable belief in the American dream.

On May 20, 2026, at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C., we will gather to celebrate this legacy with an evening designed to honor those who paved the way and uplift those who are rising now. The night will include a blacktie cocktail reception, dinner, and awards ceremony recognizing six extraordinary Latino trailblazers who have shaped our country through their brilliance in Business, International Affairs, Entertainment, Sports, Education, and Public Service.

And perhaps most meaningful of all, this evening will support our mission of awarding over $300,000 in scholarships to the students of our Hispanic 100 Foundation Class of 2026 Mentor Program. These young people — many the first in their families to attend college — carry the hopes of generations that came before them. By investing in them, we honor the sacrifices of our past while lighting the path for the future.
