A New Local Plan for North Yorkshire - A chance to have your say

The Scarborough Business Ambassadors in partnership with North Yorkshire Council are hosting a special breakfast event looking at the New Local Plan for North Yorkshire. The Council want your feedback, so this event is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the plan and have your say.

North Yorkshire Council is creating a brand new Local Plan for North Yorkshire and it wants to hear from local businesses and property or land owners about how the Plan can best meet their needs. 

In the lead up to what is known as the ‘Issues and Options’ consultation the Council wants to engage directly with the Scarborough business community to understand the barriers and opportunities which exist in the locality. 

This is an opportunity for you to communicate directly with the officers creating the Local Plan about jobs housing the environment transport and other planning issues. 

There will also be an opportunity to speak with officers from the Council’s Economic Development team.
