About The Book
Be the Train: The Mindset and Tools You Need to Make Your First Feature Film by Selina Ringel is a motivational guide for aspiring filmmakers, teaching them to stop waiting for opportunities and instead create their own momentum by taking control of their projects. The book focuses on developing a "relentless mindset," securing funding (or making films without it), building a strong team, and finding joy in the process, using Ringel's own experiences as an actress who became a producer and writer. It's a practical, actionable guide that blends personal stories with concrete advice for taking charge of your creative career.
