Join Great River Shakespeare Festival for the 2026 Festival, featuring our modern rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream. GRSF fills its new home at the historic The ARC with ragtime rhythms, art deco flair, and the splendor of its breathtaking historic drops, conjuring a world where love, laughter, and a little chaos reign supreme.
A ragtag band of working stiffs rehearses a play for their neighbors. Four besotted lovers tumble headlong into an enchanted forest. And somewhere in the fairy realm, things have gone wonderfully, gloriously wrong. Bold, physical, and irresistibly fun for all ages, this Midsummer is a homecoming and a celebration—proof that theater has always been, and always will be, the place where community comes alive.
Arrive up to 90 minutes early and enjoy food, beverages (including alcohol), and the Green Show inside on the 1st floor. The Green Show begins approximately 45 minutes before curtain. Seating for the performance begins approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain.
