About Dídac 🪕
Originally from Barcelona, Dídac Ruiz is a musician, percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, and artistic producer. His musical path has been shaped by years of learning and exchanging with animist and ancestral cultures across North, West, and South Africa, as well as India and the Sahara 🌍
An internationally recognized musician and master of the Kamele n’goni—a traditional Malian harp—Dídac has spent much of his life in Africa. His music emerges from lived experience: grounded, devotional, and deeply embodied. Each performance becomes a living prayer in motion 🔔
Playing self-crafted instruments and drawing inspiration from ancient traditions, Dídac weaves ancestral stories with the soulful melodies of his Spanish roots. His music opens a space of awakening and openness, reminding us of sound’s timeless power to heal, connect, and remember.
